It is entirely up to you, but I recommend booking your Trial at least 8weeks before, as you could change your mind on what hairstyle or make up you want and may need to book another trial. Also try and fit it in with a dress fitting so you can see it all together.
What days are available for my trial?
The days that are currently available for your trial will vary depending on what stylist is accompanying you, this will be emailed to you.
How long will the trial last?
The trial is approximately 1.5 hour, half an hour is for the consultation and the other hour is where you get one hair style to try or make up, you can however have an extra hour which is an extra £15 if you would like to try 2 hair styles. If you wanting to book another trial on a separate day then the charge is £40.
How should I prepare my hair for my trial /on the day?
Please wash you hair the night of your trial/wedding day, just make sure its clean for me on the day and dry!! I will prep your hair with products before I start so it’s easier for me to work with.
What time will you arrive at the venue?
This will vary on the time of your ceremony and how big the party is and what style your bridesmaids are having as some hair up dos take longer than others, at the most I give myself 1 hour per style, I can provide an extra early start or if you do not wish for this then a second stylist may be required. Confirmation of the time will be discussed on your trial day.
Do I need a deposit to secure my wedding date?
Yes the deposit is to cover the cost of your trial which is non refundable , this will secure your date up until then.
After the trial a 50% deposit from the day amount is taken (this is non refundable if you cancel) , this will ensure your date is still secure. You will have 10 days to pay this, if we do not hear anything from you after 10 days we will assume your not happy and your date will be released.
The next payment will be the other 50% of the days payments plus any petrol fees, we require all payments to be paid before 72 hours of the wedding.
The petrol cost is charged at 50p per mile this is after a 40mile round trip, so 20miles there and 20miles back. This is estimated from my home at La2ors, if an additional stylist is needed it may involve a sub charge to cover their petrol fees. If you don’t have me for the wedding and have an additional stylist this is worked out from their home. Please note I will try my best to ensure we have the closest team to you.
Are there any other charges?
No other payments, trial fees and day fee plus petrol fee is all we ask.
Who will be styling my hair and make up if your not free and how does this work?
They will be given to you by distant, to ensure travel costs are kept at a minimum. Before booking you will receive pictures of their work and if your happy we can carry on with the booking. All Payments are sent to them, I will be the middle man to ensure that the booking goes smoothly as possible and to ensure a high level of service.
Any other questions don’t hesitate to contact me. Most of this will be discussed on your trial day.
